In general, it is not required to have an import licence in order to import consumer goods to Norway. However, certain types of goods might require specific registrations or permits, or there might be specific marking requirements when importing to Norway. It is the importer´s responsibility to ensure that the terms of importing the particular goods are met. Contact the Norwegian Customs for information about goods with specific import requirements.
