Pumps

Pumps are necessary instruments in industrial works, building, repair works, construction, house works, etc.

These tools move fluids (liquids or gases), or sometimes slurries, by mechanical action. Pumps are normally classified into three major groups by method used to move the fluid: direct lift pumps, displacement pumps, and gravity pumps.

Pumps consume energy to perform mechanical work by moving the fluid. They operate using different energy sources. There are manually operated pumps, electrically operated pumps, engine operated pumps, or wind power pumps. The sizes of pumps can be diverse: from microscopic pumps for use in medical applications to large industrial pumps.

Pumps are used by people for different purposes. Today, the pump is used for irrigation, water supply, gasoline supply, air conditioning systems, refrigeration (usually called a compressor), chemical movement, sewage movement, flood control, marine services. There exist different kinds of pumps: handling gas pumps and pumps handling liquidhigh pressure pumps and low pressure pumpshigh volume pumps and low volume pumps. All these tools are applied in industrial or other works.

Mechanical pumps are used in a wide range of applications including pumping water from wells, aquarium filtering, pond filtering and aeration, in the car industry for water-cooling and fuel injection, in the energy industry for pumping oil and natural gas or for operating cooling towers. Mechanical pumps may be submerged in the fluid they are pumping or be placed external to the fluid. There are also medical pumps and biological pumps.

Pumps are also classified according to the method of displacement. There exist positive displacement pumps, impulse pumps, velocity pumps, gravity pumps, steam pumps and valveless pumps. There are two basic types of pumps: positive displacement and centrifugal pumps. There are also axial-flow pumps which have essentially the same operating principles as centrifugal pumps.

All these kinds of pumps and other tools are available on Export Portal. Whether you want to buy a pump for house works like simple mini-pump, water pump or automatic pump, or sell pumps for industrial use, this is the right place to do it.
