Lagos State government announced plans to increase Made-in-Nigeria products exports, noting that it is working with stakeholders to position products and services for international exports.

During the meeting, the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Folashade Jaji, at the closing ceremony of this year's Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF), said that his efforts have yielded the desired result, as Lagos has become a brand that any business or investor cannot ignore.

It is a very arduous task, but one that can be accomplished if the state is benchmarked against global best practices so that it can become a model for others to follow.

Our administration has greatly improved the business environment by implementing business-friendly policies to make it easier to do business in the state, the availability of incentives and our unwavering commitment to developing and renewing the state's infrastructure. Construction works are currently underway in all parts of the state."

There are already some of these mechanisms in place, which facilitate the exchange of goods and services within cities and between the states," he said.
