What documents are required for customs clearance?

This depends from port of entry to port of entry, but there are some documents that are common to most customs procedures:

  1. Bill of Entry
  2. Commercial Invoice
  3. Bill of Lading / Airway bill
  4. Import License
  5. Insurance certificate
  6. Purchase order/Letter of Credit

All of these documents will be provided in a trade transaction on Export Portal, making the customs process more streamlined.
